Currently there is a waiting list for admission into Hot Rod Bettie’s Tattoo School. To qualify for admission, a prospective student must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., be at least 18 of age, and have an interview for an art portfolio assessment and objective planning prior to enrollment to determine your current artistic style and how we can best meet your needs as a student in our program. Total fees for admission are as follows; a $150 registration fee, a $1500 supply fee, and a tuition of $8350. Upon passing the art portfolio assessment, the student must pay the $150 registration fee in order to hold their spot in class. $1850 as well as the supply fee of $1500 is due on or no less than 5 business days prior to the first day of classes. The supply fee will cover the cost of supplies used in this program, including, but not limited to; a power source, two professional tattoo machines, machine tubes, needle bars, loose needles, a set of pigments, and a roll-away tool chest. The total cost of the program is $10,000. Disposable products will be supplied by the school. Common use equipment and research material will be available for use by all students and staff. These supplies are designed to last throughout the school year. However, additional products and supplies are available for purchase if necessary.
Currently, we do not offer financial aid for tattoo students. Tuition may not be worked off, nor do we assign a contract for monthly payments. We accept money orders or cashier’s checks for tuition payments. We do not accept personal checks or cash for tuition.
